About CRRCS

Help. Hope. Healing.

About

CRRCS was founded in 1997 to provide assistance and support to domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and sex trafficking victims/survivors. In 2015 CRRCS changed our name from the Colorado River Regional Crisis Shelter to the Colorado River Regional Crisis Services to reflect our commitment to provide community and mobile services in addition to residential services.

Program Philosophy

The program’s philosophy is to deliver confidential, survivor-centered, holistic, and trauma-informed services to individuals who have experienced abuse. CRRCS seeks to inform the community as to how to recognize and respond thoughtfully to survivors of abuse.

The program is rooted in the reality of rural western Arizona and the culturally specific dynamics of, La Paz County and Colorado River Indian Tribal Communities. Advocates offer survivor-centered services that are inclusive, culturally aware, confidential and supportive.
